This is for a Printed Pattern
A top down sock with an easy slip stitch pattern separated by increasing rounds of stocking stitch. The pattern is carried on down the heel flap and repeated once more on the toe. After shaping the toe, stitches are grafted together.
Size: Three sizes:
Actual circumference of sock after blocking: 17(19: 21)cm / 6¾ (7½: 8¼)in
Choose a size abut 10% smaller in circumference than the intended wearers leg or foot for best fit.
Tension: 34 sts and 50 rounds to 10cm / 4″ worked over Stocking Stitch using 2.25mm / US 1 needles, measured after blocking. You may need larger or smaller needles to match tension.
The socks were designed with a fingering weight Ainsworth & Prin Sock Set with two contrast colours.
