A&P Linen Sock
A hand dyed four ply, fingering weight non super-wash merino and linen blend for beautifully soft socks, hats and other accessories. The linen takes the place of nylon to help with durability along with the four tightly twisted plies which give a smooth, even stitch and great stitch definition. It also gives a fleck to the yarn as it doesn’t take up the dye. From non mulesed merino.
Skein weight and length – 100g./400 m.
Fibre – 80% Merino Wool, 20% Linen
Washing – Hand wash only using a mild detergent.
Suggested possible needles – 2mm – 3.25mm (smaller needles will give a more durable sock)
Ainsworth & Prin yarn is hand dyed in small batches. We try to achieve consistent colours but each skein is unique so when using more than one skein of a colour in a project we really recommend alternating skeins every couple of rows.
