A&P Alpaca Linen Sock

A hand dyed high twist, fingering weight superfine alpaca and linen blend for beautiful, nylon free, soft socks, hats and other accessories.  This alpaca has been enzyme treated to reduce shrinking and blended with linen instead of nylon as a strengthener. The yarn has a slight halo but the four tightly twisted plies give a smooth even stitch.

Ball weight and length – 100g./400 m.
Fibre – 80% Superfine Easy-wash Alpaca, 20% Kid Mohair, 25% linen
Washing – Hand wash using a mild wool wash or machine washable on a gentle hand wash cycle.

Ainsworth & Prin yarn is hand dyed in small batches.  We try to achieve consistent colours but each skein is unique so when using more than one skein of a colour in a project we really recommend alternating skeins every couple of rows.
