Winter Club Box

A winter heartland scene with low sunlight through frosted grass

I’m trying to avoid going out to the shed to wash wool as it’s so very icy outside and so very warm inside I thought I do a show and tell for our winter club box.

The theme was a winter walk, with a photograph of the heath in winter for the inspiration.

The only advanced planning we managed was to press some leaves for the parcel.

A single pressed leaf on dark blue tissue

There were two crafts.
A soft, tweedy bear to sew.

A row of tweedy bears against a slate background
A soft toy bear surrounded by acorns and oak leaves

And a garland of embossed trees.

A papier mache owl flying over a string of silver trees
A pair of hands hanging shiny tree ornaments onto a fir branch

There was of course wool and a set of mini skeins.

The complete set of full skein and minis

And the pattern was Flinty.
